Include the Altmetric 'donut' graphic and score on your own site with the minimum of technical effort - all you need to do is add a single line of code to your article pages. We host the Altmetric data your authors & readers will see but give you control over the presentation so that you can match the look and feel of your site.
Getting started is simple. We offer a selection of badge styles, you can see them all in our technical documentation.
Here are some examples of embedded badges:
Your visitors will be able to click on these badges to see alt-metrics about the article they're currently viewing.
Our badges are hosted on Cloudfront, an international content delivery network, and will load very quickly no matter where your visitors come from.
You choose where the badge should appear on your site, inserting a single line of code in the appropriate area.
We've worked hard to ensure that implementation is as painless as possible but recognise that some sites may have special requirements. If desired Altmetric can work with your developers to ensure that you're up and running as quickly as possible.
Your visitors will be able to see the Altmetric score for each article in the badge graphic. Clicking on the badge will take them to a landing page hosted by Altmetric (see a simple example here) where they can see a score breakdown, the context and Altmetric demographics for that article.
We want the best experience for your visitors and so encourage you to style this landing page to match your brand. You can supply us with static HTML or we can create a simple template containing any logos and copy you provide.
Our pricing is based on the number of journals you want covered, with significant discounts for larger portfolios.
You can try out the badges, without any commitment, for free though your visitors will only see a subset of activity for each article when they click through. See the technical documentation for details.

Editors, publishers, press officers and marketing departments can use Altmetric Explorer to browse, search and filter the attention data collected about their articles - and the articles published by their competitors. Use it to deliver insights, track conversations and measure levels of attention over time.

Get access to the same article, journal and activity data as the Altmetric Explorer by using a commercial license key for our API.
Your mobile or web applications can query the API to fetch all of the articles mentioned in different time periods, from different journals, in different places - however you want to slice and dice the data.
We set up dedicated servers for high volume customers but can also supply virtual machine images and a data-feed if you'd rather use your own infrastructure.
See the API documentation or contact us for details.
Add Altmetric scores to search results and let people order or filter by the amount of activity surrounding an article.
