@khimberger, you nailed the big issue that this paper highlights-we know a bit about how adults learn, but not so much about how children learn (on the cellular/circuit level). Modulation of inhibition could be one way (among a few)-hopefully we will find

I really enjoyed the framing of this paper by @AdemaRibic (https://t.co/ni6NdHmYNd). Perhaps changes in disinhibition could explain some differences in statistical learning between children (more passive) and adults (more directed)?
